I’ve got a correspondent in the field in Ruston saying they’ve transitioned to all snow and are getting pounded.

Melting line aloft on CC is right on Monroe. So jibes with the ground truth. You'll be transitioning to snow shortly.

I don’t believe it’s actually snowing like this in March.

I think Russia nuked us and this is radioactive ash and media is keeping silent

As a south Louisiana baw the latest I’ve ever seen snow fall from the sky in Louisiana is March 1

I’ve been to Colorado after that but this blows away anything I’ve ever seen in Louisiana

In 1987 we got about 4 inches April in the Ponchatoula area. Was kind of a freak event caught everyone including the weather types off guard.

That low is popping off now, really sucking in the air.

Yeah, last big gust pushed 40. 32 is the official highest gust, but hasn't updated in nearly 15 minutes.

Temp still at 46° right now.

Front is just getting into NOLA. Winds have turned but still light (for now).

Dont expect The Boat for a while either. He should be out frolicking in the snow.

Check out CC. The leading edge is through Monroe and it’s coming down now

The '93 blizzard was in March. This same w/e as a MOF. March 13th.

Looks like here in NW GA we might get a quarter of an inch of snow. Half inch at the extreme most.

My hometown in Western PA.is getting 5" in about an 8 hr.span tonight into the morning.

I was thinking about this today (North Alabama). Imagine being an Indian years ago living on the Tennessee River and thinking damn spring is here early I think I will head a few days out and do some hunting. 72° when you leave then 4” of snow moves in and it drops to 17° the next night. They probably knew where all the local caves were though to take shelter in.

I think about that all the time.

Imagine living in Galveston on August 13, 1900.

I wore short sleeves this morning. When I left work at 6 it was 37 and raining with a 20 mph north wind.
