Picked up pretty quickly for me, too.

Temp swing is legit. 66° near the Shoals and 34° North of Memphis.

And they've been known to pick a song or two

Just a cool 60ish kts of shear in the first 1 km of the atmosphere. Decent low level CAPE too.

That's enough CAPE with that shear. I'm thinking the Northern mode may be more impressive tomorrow than the South Georgia setup tonight. If we see a couple rogue cells get going late tonight, it could be dangerous, tough.

I like the ENH Panhandle area tonight, storms mature over the Gulf and get rocking as the jet picks up. S GA could get some too, but not sure how far the warm air gets north. Then the LCS that forms will have bows and trouble as it moves east.

Tomorrow ought to produce from the low country up to the VA/NC line.

I’d love to see Tim McGraw get one up in this wind and see how far it goes

We’re getting sleet mixing in at 38 degrees. I’d love to see this temp profile.

I was thinking about this today (North Alabama). Imagine being an Indian years ago living on the Tennessee River and thinking damn spring is here early I think I will head a few days out and do some hunting. 72° when you leave then 4” of snow moves in and it drops to 17° the next night. They probably knew where all the local caves were though to take shelter in.
