Anyone have any bad experiences with the new Broncos? I hear they aren’t good quality but everyone I’ve ever talked to who has one loves them. Wanting to get a vehicle that me and my kids can have fun riding around in with the top off. Not a lot of options out there besides the Bronco/Jeep. Doubt Isuzu brings the good ol Amigo back anytime soon

So who are you hearing they aren’t good quality from, if everyone you talk to loves them?

I was concerned by a crash test video I saw.

If Ford wants me to buy a new bronco, at least make it look like the old ones. Broncos might as well be a Dodge caravan

Like most new vehicles, they are made to last just past the warranty without major failure.

Well damn, didn’t realize I’d be getting downvoted for asking a question about a vehicle. Just heard over the last couple years (probably from this place) that they weren’t solid vehicles. I only know a couple folks who have one

There is a very large contingent of smooth brain on the OT, don’t let it bother you. I work for a dealer group that has a couple of Ford stores, my counterparts in service are saying they are about as good as anything else. No huge issues.

Are you looking to get a new car or is this just an extra car to have fun with the kids?

If it’s that then maybe consider something way older like an older bronco or trailblazer

That sounds like a lot of Jeep owners.

We have a 2022 with 30K miles on it and never had anything repaired on it.

Has been flawless so far

What’s retail on the new Bronco raptor, like $100k? I could find an old 66-77 body in decent shape for around 10k and put the other 90 into restoration with upgraded brakes, suspension, ac, nice modernized interior with a tuned coyote engine and 5 speed manual transmission have a much more badass ride that would turn heads and win car shows.

Upvoted simply for the Amigo reference.

Never let that fine vehicle's memory die.

If I gotta pay 70k for a new bronco I’m just gonna pay 85k for a remodeled old one.

Wranglers are terrible everyday drivers and will start having issues as the years and miles add up. If you do decide to purchase one new, trade it in before the warranty expires. You can probably keep doing this and pretty much keep your payment the same. I don't advocate doing this, but if you're determined, don't keep a Wrangler more than 5-6 years and don't get close to 100k miles.

Watch the crash test reel. No way I would allow anyone in my family to own one.

Ah yes, the highly accurate crash tests from a video game.

I own a '22 with 35K miles. Only issue I had was a bad hardtop pc which was replaced by Ford. Great ride, lots of bells and whistles, very happy with the purchase.

Go check out eh bronco6g forums and you will get a good variety of opinions (mostly good).

No problems with mine and I love it. The thing I like about it is not having rubber duckie swingers ornaments lining the dash
