City of Shreveport to shut off water to 3 apartment complexes next week

City of Shreveport to shut off water to 3 apartment complexes next week
All 3 properties are owned by the same dude out of NYC.
Apparently the property manager at Quail Creek put a sign on the door that they were closed and the entire staff left the property. They said they have a serious issue with squatters and residents refusing to pay rent. Some owed more than $16K in back rent.
Would you be surprised if I told you all 3 are Section 8 housing?
This was announced yesterday. There was a shooting at Quail Creek last night. Crime was already bad there. This is going to make it the Wild West.

One of the properties had people throwing rocks at firemen when they were responding to a call in the middle of the night a few months ago. There are shootings on a weekly basis at Quail Creek. And this was all with power and water. It’s literally a zoo with animals in half the apartments.
I feel for the people that lived there and paid their bills. They’ve got a week to find a new place to live because hoodrats and slumlords think they don’t have to pay bills and that the gubument will pay for them.

Oh well. I have an idea. How about Louisiana politicians put together another Ukraine funding bill. I’m sure speaker Johnson can get enough demorats and Rinos to pass it. We know there is a filibuster proof majority in the senate to pass it too. They can even include funds for Israel to provide cover for the gope. I lived in the Quail Creek apartments around 2008ish and they were decent apartments.

Well, the Tennant will just take the insurance claim, because those Fulkerson are about to trash those places.
Why pay rent if owner sits in NY and doesn't take action. Now I definitely wouldn't pay because my rent doesn't keep the eater on.
