I couldn't see anything with the naked eye but it looked awesome through the camera.

So how does it work regarding best possible time to see them?
Is it all night or is there a specific window?

It's sorta cool that your phone or camera takes a pink time exposure picture, but nowhere near as cool as actually seeing aurora with you own eyes

I don't consider it an aurora sighting if you can't see it with your eyes.
