fr not what I was expecting after seeing everyone’s pics nearby. I’m sure the peeps in here posting from MS that posted these could see at least something clearly with their naked eye, but i didn’t get anything like that with my cam

The more north you are the more colors you'll get.

Well, yeah.

I was just saying that you get the greens, purples, and wild waves up North.

That said......pillars in Biloxi:

Does anyone know the best hours based on how far west we are?

Didn’t see much in Houston though I could make out a bit with the naked eye. Small shades of purple with my iPhone 15 camera but nothing like some of the photos shared earlier and especially not like the European photos for a few hours ago.

My backyard in N AL. There for a few minutes you were able to see the pillars without using the phone.

I first had the green pillars & a pinkish purple haze that was visible to the naked eye with quite a few wisps and waves down here

Then had different color glows along with it

Enough that admittedly I got chill bumps as a middle aged man

So is this more visible via picture & not to the naked eye?

Y'all suck....I'm pissed I can't see this. Best I could get was my night light in the living room.

Earlier when I took that picture you could see it with the naked eye. iPhone definitely enhanced the pictures.

Right now looking to the north you can’t see anything but if you take the picture it catches the pink and green color to the sky.

Yea, it’s been enough excitement for one week.

Who would have thought living in North Alabama you would have 3 tornado warnings around your home in a span of a couple hours and 2 nights later you’re outside looking at the northern lights.
