I’m looking for recommendations for a good ACT prep course around the BR/Ascension Parish area. TIA

You're being racist and classist trying to better your children. Equity dictates you not send yiur child to school. Bigot.

Find a food tutor. My brother tutors on the side and has built it into a solid business. He makes over 75k/yr tutoring in his "off" time and has put several brick and mortar centers out of business.

It's 2021 and people still pay for ACT prep?

They do where ny brother lives. He's in his 40s and still takes the SAT/ACT tests to stay current.

He maxes the SST at 1600.

Since I had barely studied or stayed awake in class while in high school, it wasn't going to make much of a difference so I got drunk the night before and still drunk the next morning when it was given

They are a total waste of money. Just have your kid do practice tests over and over. Also, if you want to use any good resource, have them subscribe to UWorld. It is way cheaper than a prep course and the questions are very realistic to the real test (I used it for MCAT).

Have your kid read more.

Seriously.

Reading comprehension is the entire test besides the math section. And even that one is 50%

Read a volume of encyclopedias. It works.

I know two guys that answered C for every question. They made a 6.

My oldest son got a 35, he took a paid prep course, plus a bunch of free online prep, but I think the best thing is to just take it erry chance the student gets. From the low 20s, the child will improve 3-4 points each time, obviously the amount of gain goes down in the 30s.

That's why you gotta change it up every couple questions.

My daughter used this one and scored 4 points higher than her first test.

How'd he get started? I tutor a little on the side but never done ACT prep. I'd like to get into it since it seems like it's a big money maker.
