Y'all baws member Lindsey's on N. Sherwood near Greenwell Springs?
I don't really remember much about it besides that they had a little zip line, a tree house, some tunnels, and we loved it.

Skip Bertman's Grand Slam was freaking incredible for a young baseball obsessed LSU fan back in the day! My cousins and I went to his camp a couple times in the early 90s just as the dynasty was exploding onto the scene and being able to be involved with that and meeting the players and the legend himself is magical really. One of my cousins ended up moving to Baton Rouge and I remember going to stay with him one weekend that he was having his party at Grand Slam and I just happened to have a soccer tournament in town put on by Baton Rouge United. I got red carded in the second game against New Orleans vfb so I ended up being able to actually stay at his party the whole time when I was so worried about having to miss it in order to get back to my team at the tournament site. It's funny the things you remember and the things you held so dear at a young age.

Had parties at Showbiz and Aladdin's Castle. Also went to a friend's party at Broadmoor pool. Amazing there was no lifeguard while dumbass kids like me were jumping off the high diving platform. McDonald's had the best birthday cake and their playground back in the day was awesome with all the tight spaces and rusty metal.

We used to do pervy poses on the wall in that room where your shadow stays and then get in trouble when parents walked in.

Riding in this large skate/go cart contraption at Skate City in Lake Charles was the pinnacle of birthday parties.
McDonald’s had a decent birthday party back in the day, with the five gallon jug of orange drink for the birthday party. Also, Shakeys pizza, where you could watch them make and bake your pie from the window.
