Didn’t police chase them down the road having to dodge grenades being dropped on the roadway?

Crazy shite. The entire day was like a climactic scene from a 90s action movie.

Cannot believe that was 11 years ago. One of the better TD threads also, we had live feeds from every agency in the northeast.

Those same lunatics would love nothing more than something similar to this happening with Trump supporters being rounded up.

The background of the terrorist that day was interesting as well. "Wealthy" family that was on the tit. Then the media glorified him after his arrest as some kind of hero.

That was a crazy day. I flew into Boston looking at apartments to move there.

Because the city was locked down, they made us go straight from our gate to a cab, and the cabs could only bring us to our hotel. Once we got to the hotel they had security checking IDs to ensure you actually had a reservation there.

We couldn’t leave our hotel room so we watched the coverage until the all clear was given. The city was a ghost town.

Once we could leave we went to dinner and on the way back to the hotel, there was a massive crowd in the Common cheering for all the police as they went by. It was a spontaneous parade, basically. American flags everywhere.

We joined in, drank beers with strangers, and shook hands with every cop that passed. It was one of the most memorable nights of my life.

People here were celebrating this. My how their minds changed after Covid.

I flew in to Boston on the day of the bombing. That was surreal. There were people in the airport trying to catch flights still in their running clothes with their numbers still pinned to their chests. Luckily our driver knew back streets and was able to get us out of the city pretty quickly.

The OT was way ahead of the MSN that night on the suspects.

Naw. They flip flop, like the people who were for the Iraq War/Patriot Act in the mid-00s who were "small government conservatives" in the early 2010s during the Tea Party, who then supported fedgov in the late 2010s, who now claim to be against big fedgov.

Flip floppers who follow trends who have no personal values.

Yeah I’m on Reddit but stick to only certain subreddits. The rest is an absolute prog trash. Probably a lot of bots, I dunno. I just know that every time I say something even moderately non-prog, I get warned or banned. It’s always bc of my “tone” not even anything I said.
