So why haven’t we signed Renfrow yet?

Thought this was a forgone conclusion once the time passed that free agents don’t count against the comp pick formula.

The year when Carr looked like an early season MVP favorite was the same year Renfrow was tearing it up and having a career year in 2021. 1k yards and 9tds that year.

We dont really have a need for a smaller, intermediate receiver on this roster. we need a big, high point, high traffic guy

Look...im hoping AT balls out.
But the fact that i got 3 immediate replies that a 6th rounder with 12 career catches is going to fill the Mike Thomas or Colston role on this team is baffling.
I dont know how AT Perry got such a high approval rating in this fanbase.

Really now? Because the two smallish receivers we have starting have stayed completely healthy the last two years right?
Still amazes me how most of you think these guys will never miss games all year.

The Saints have shown no interest this offseason in giving out anything other than low end 1 year deals to FA (see my "soft reset" thread). He probably wants more than that.

Hunter Renfrow?
He isn't commanding some big money.
Guys like Tyler boyd are only getting 1 yr deals at this point. Someone who has produced consistently. And tyler boyd isn't the greatest but he has more value than Renfrow.
2021 was a long time ago.
