The Saints have agreed to terms with former Bengals WR Stanley Morgan, who played a key part on their special teams units. New Orleans native, went to St. Aug.

signing a special teams player the first week of free agency

Tyler Boyd would have been nice. Hope Morgan is a hell of a STer. He only has 5 career receptions.

Nothing against Stanley. It has to be pretty cool to play for his hometown team. But this has to be the most meh free agency I can ever remember for the Saints. My hope is this is all about getting the cap in a more manageable position for the future

We can all dream this is the case, but then you see things like the Chase Young visit and start to wonder if they are putting all of their eggs in that basket.

yeah, that's what I thought when I first saw it.
Then I thought that 95% of the people here are either too young or too shallow of fans to know who #86 for the Patriots back in the day was.
Kudos to SirWinston for his depth of knowledge.

Who?
That would be equivalent to drafting LSU backup WR Kyren Lacy instead of Malik Nabers

I think he is. If he makes the team thats how. Dude re-wrote all the WR records while at nebraska. Has done little receiving wise. But all you guys on the bubble thinking ST's is how you are going to do it better step up your ST game

Do you know how much cap money we have to spend?
Posted on 3/15/24 at 2:50 pm to Fun Bunch
And you all thought we didn’t the money to sign anyone!

He’s not going to visit the Saints. He’s using us to get more money

He has no leverage really. Panthers seemingly passed on him and signed some other guys.
Other than Tennessee, no one really has interest. Chase cant "use" anyone at the moment

Good player but he retired like 25 years ago

Has he played since the ‘80s?
ETA: Didn’t see the post above. Well played. I’m sorry to be redundant.
