The #Saints requested permission to interview #Seahawks OC Shane Waldron for their vacant OC job, source said. That’s three candidates thus far.

because they have to formally request permission, these things always get reported, may as well report it yourself so details are accurate

or were you just being sarcastic

Waldron worked for Mcvay also. I really like Waldron for what he's done with geno smith.

Was definitely in response to the thread about why the Falcons keep announcing who they interviewed.

2 Mcvey disciples so far in addition to the Bengals guy.

Maybe they actually do have a plan and will make a somewhat decent hire on paper

And Zac Taylor is part of the shannahan tree/mcvay branch, so Pitcher has a touch of that as well being in cincy. The whole league will be under the shannahan tree soon enough.

Eh. Love the names but hope we whiff on all of them and we have to name Gruden. I want DA gone so I don’t want him to nail any hires

Loving these names: the improvement in Geno Smith, Matthew Stafford with Puka Nacua, and Joe Burrow and his backup.

Who wants to come here and walk into a situation where it’s likely playoffs or you’re on the street? I wouldn’t if I had better options……or a current gig where I was welcomed back.
