TEN hired Callahan so Pitcher will get promoted to OC

Zac Robinson is interviewing with the entire league so he isn't coming here.

CHI hired Waldron.

We interviewed Jerrod Johnson via zoom lol.

They aren't really trying but they floated the names to show the fans they did.

I can’t ever see Gruden coming back for a spot that’s not a HC.

Gruden is going to be Senior Offensive Assistant, just like DA was for Sean with Ryan as DC when he came back to the Saints. Curry will be OC and will call plays on the field. Gruden will come up with the game plans and probably be in the booth.

Please be Gruden. Fire DA after a 1-4 start.

Nobody wants to ruin their career by attaching it to a sinking ship. Gruden would take that chance because his career already has been ruined by cancel culture. I think it’s a good possibility it will be him.

This

If he is even hired it will be in an advisory role. Gruden isn't just jumping back into NFL coaching.

I’d be absolutely shocked if this didn’t happen.

Robinson is probably the best candidate. He seems to be on the pathway of become a head coach soon. So he’d be wise to go to a team with a hood track record. Who wants to attach themselves to Dennis Allen lol, other than Gruden b/c no one will csll him. He can’t even get a booth job now.

If Gruden gets hired the NFL will treat the Saints even worse than they do now. We will become the new Lions. Lets go with Gruden though. frick cancel culture.

Article from 2020 highlighting the Raiders' struggles in 2019 in the redzone:

quote:

The Raiders finished with a red zone touchdown percentage of 52.8, which was 21st in the league. The 2019 offense was 14th in red zone opportunities improving from 27th in 2018 but still finished right around the same percentage, which was 22nd the previous season. For perspective, the four years before he came back from the booth, the Raiders average red zone touchdown percentage was 62.32, with an average ranking of 7.75.

I'm pretty sure the last time a Gruden team had any real redzone success was when he had Mike Alstott in Tampa. Gruden as the OC or HC would be par for the course for the Saints right now.

Gruden's last full season there was 2020. They were 8th in total offense and 10th in scoring offense
