Not sure how to feel about Rattler….he reminds me of a very poor man’s Mahomes. Probably won’t make a difference anyway.

If I went into this thinking we take a QB in round 5, Travis would have been my choice too. Its splitting hairs a bit concerning talent, but he won a lot of games and was the reason for the wins.

I'd take Rattler over Travis in any draft, though I really like Travis. Rattler is NFL caliber and will show that when he locks up the backup spot over Peterman and Haener. He can simply make every single throw from essentially any platform.

The problem is we didn't really have a sure thing at backup for this year. Travis will likely be out for most if not all of this year.

That’s who I wanted also. Hell I wouldn’t have been mad if they took both Rattler and Jordan. At some point the Saints have got to start taking the drafting of the qb position seriously and not overpaying for free agents.
