6: I love football and miss it when it’s out of season. This team looks pretty mediocre on paper, but they’re in a situation where they don’t have to be THAT good to have success. Division is winnable, all of the teams in it are mediocre, and someone HAS to win it. At the same time, both lines look like they could struggle, Carr has played like a mediocre quarterback, and his weapons are largely underwhelming. There’s no exciting IMPACT player left on this team besides Taysom (whom the current coaching staff has no idea how to use) and maybe Kamara (who is past his prime).

Low expectations, low stakes, unexciting team. I just want to see the o-line figure out how not to suck and see if Carr can succeed when he’s not running for his life.

The only thing that I guess we can use to hype us up is the fact that the SB is in New Orleans this coming post-season.

Which is the magic number bc i think after week 5 we’ll know where this season is heading

Of course in typical saints/nfc south fashion we’ll probably be 2-3 with everyone else

Dennis Allen is still our coach.

This is why I am at an even 5.

I expect nothing good that matters, but I look forward to what could be the unraveling that ends the DA era.

They've got to do something new to bring some excitement to the team. Pretty boring arse off-season after a below average season. Nothing to look forward to this coming season.

I'll always watch the Saints (unless they moved), but I haven't been very excited since DA took over.

2, will bump to an 9 if it looks like DA will be fired. We're in purgatory until he's gone.

If they start the season 4-1 then 10

If they go 1-4 then 1

I used to live and die on every draft pick, FA signing, etc..

It's just a dumb a game that's more than likely rigged anyway. 7 or 8 times a year I get to watch my favorite team win while I watch the BBQ pit and drink Coors Light

Not so bad

10. I’m always excited for football.

This. I love football and I can't help the fact that I was born into this fandom.

Now am I expecting a 10 of a season? Hell no. But the off-season is always a boring slog and I refuse to be a miserable off-season fan when I'd rather be watching the team. I'll bitch about them when they're messing up my post-season aspirations but I'd rather them be playing this Sunday than not.

Got the email about my turn being up on the ticket waitlist.

Called the ticket office and within about 30 minutes, I became a season ticket holder again after 20+ years.

I have 3 young sons, and I was able to bring them to a couple of games last year. They absolutely loved it. Really excited to create these memories with them, even if there is a greater than 50% chance the Saints will be cheeks this season.

I’m always excited to go to the dome and come home to Louisiana, but I have no illusions of grandeur, we most likely will suck! But I can most likely sell my tickets I don’t use to pay for next years season tickets

Carr and Allen as HC make it a 3 out of 10 for me. Once DA is gone I can start to regain optimism. Enjoyed the Super Bowl and will forever cherish it
