I think Turner is still on a rookie contract. He's not going anywhere.

You can make a case for the rest of the guys you listed though.

I am most excited to cut Peat

But it will definitely be Jameis, Davenport, and Thomas

Personally, I can't wait for March 15th comes around when the new league year begins and the Saints can cut Michael Thomas. Just like Julius Caesar, beware the Ides of March MFer!

Isn’t Davenport a free agent?

Actually, yes he is. Technically, we can't cut or trade him.

Peat

He’ll be around 1 more year. Cutting only saves about $1.6M

Thomas doesn't have a say in it.

His contract was restructured so that cutting will be easier to spread out over the next few season.

No way in hell he collect on that 32 million roster bonus coming due in 2024.

Come March 17th MT13 will be gone. Only way he stays if if he restructures again and takes a massive pay cut. Think he's the kind of guy that will sign a cap friendly deal for the Saints?

Mickey says that’s now an issue for now, we’ll just give him more money and spread that hit over another 5 years

Doubtful. I hope he tests the waters and gets a very cold market.

The obvious answer is no... but he must know in the back of his mind he needs to rebuild his career. I dont expect him to do that but it wouldn't shock me

One more year, dang.

Over/under number of games played in, I'll set it at 7 games

False, releasing him after june 1st saves 11.8 million for 2023, but does leave us with a 10.4 dead cap for 2024

1. Crab legs
2. Can’t guard Mike (because he never plays to be guarded)
3. The world’s largest labia aka Peat
