I heard Oleh Kasel on WWL yesterday evening and he said Zion is already working with resistance bands. He said all the offseason work Z put in to strengthen his hammys paid off. Devin Booker only missed 2.5 games of the 2022 playoff series with his hamstring injury.

Came across this tweet someone put out, if he’s already working out with resistance bands he may beat that two week timeline

If Zion beats the 2 week timeline, then I’ll be dissapointed that he didn’t tough out the Laker game. Tells me it was the most minor discomfort ever

Would be good to have Big Husky back but am confused as heck on the Pels two week timeline. If he improves, does the imaging move up or do they keep with the timeline, sit him for 2 weeks, reimage, and then clear him?

1) That strain was far worse than this one, and he actually strained it twice which led to the missing the rest of the season.

2) We actually have a PT on the staff now that he trusts, we didn’t have that last year.

I believe they said around 2 weeks, so I would imagine if next Friday Zion goes to them and says he feels good and feels like he can go they would probably move it up.

Sounds like the sensible thing to do. I hate the self imposed timeline shite, everyone's body is different.

You're playing yourself if you have ANY expectation for Zion to recover quickly from a lower body injury and/or our FO to clear him quickly for a lower body injury.

If he comes back in 2 weeks, awesome, it'll be great for the team. But anyone that is expecting him to be back at any point in the postseason, I got some awesome beachfront property in Kansas to show you.

They say two weeks no matter what it is.

He’s going to feel better way before it is ready to go. If he comes back too early and tweaks it again, he is done. I do think he tries but they are going to go every bit of those two weeks I would bet.

Everyone be optimistic. I went haywire when he ran to the locker room. He’s played with heart so if he puts that heart in recovery we got a chance.

Done as in season ending? Would that really matter conserding he has the entire offseason and start of next season to recover?

Important missing context is Nelson stopped his rehab progress when he didn’t hit the weight marks. Nelson got replaced for feuding with the star player. His replacement was sitting right behind Zion last night.

I’m not saying he’s coming back sooner than expected, but I am saying this season injury management appears to have been run differently and more effectively than last season, so maybe it’s time to leave the past in the past.

I just bought tickets for Game 4 in the Blender. Hoping for a speedy recovery so Zion can help us close out the sweep

It’s a hamstring injury. Not a broken fibula

So he might come back in two weeks but there's no way he's coming back during the postseason????????
