Zion getting hurt doesn't mean you're right mac. You're acting like we underperformed in a year that we won 49 games. There's far too much good happening for the team and you limp to the board with this bullshite, but here you are, shitting out weak frick takes.

I'm a casual fan. I like seeing the Pels win but don't live and die by it.

I love how Mac pretends he's not invested while posting under an alter, and nonstop tweeting for years and years.

Mac easily spends more of his time thinking about and talking about the Pelicans than 99% of posters, he just has no self awareness to realize it.

Literally posts a different trade every day, which I honestly appreciate. Its good discussion.

Why pretend like you don't care though? He obviously cares on some level.

Whatever, keep the trades coming

It doesn't really matter. If it is and he admitted it, we've seen how that goes, every post he made would attract haters and be derailed. If it isn't and this is one of the weirder troll jobs out there, the OP still tends to start conversations.

So he doesn't post but he reads PT I guess? Why else would he randomly tweet that if it wasn't for this thread?

Can say, on my dogs life, that I havent posted on that site in years. And people who know me, know I would never mess w/ my dogs
It's Mac.

But the funny thing is, he somehow immediately saw this thread and talk about him.

It was pointed out previously how he'll repeat stuff word for word from here without citing it as a source, so it just shows he's constantly reading Pels Talk first, and second, also stealing some of the original or unique thoughts posted here.

From that discussion a couple of months ago, I think a poster or 2 showed him posting almost word for word posts that were made here within minutes of it being posted here in Pels Talk.

It's well established by Pels Talk posters who see his tweets, that he clearly is reading Pels Talk nonstop, probably as much as the dudes who post here the most.

Don't buy into the nonsense he spouts about how bad he thinks this place is. He hates this place only because the moment he makes a post, everyone rightfully calls him out because he sucks and does not want actual discussion, he wants everyone to agree with him and credit him.

But he reads this board nonstop, that has been clearly established.

There's folks i dont agree with on this board that are pessimistic and low effort trolls, and mac laps them all with ease

I for one wish I could exert the energy and time on things I do not care about as he does for the Pelicans. I would be a better person because of it.

Constantly is a stretch. I’m not asking for you to analyze every single year of my posting in relation to the team, but I definitely cut down my posts and viewing of the team by about 80% this season and my negativity ramped up quite a bit. I did become more invested in the team later in the season when Zion became invested in the team. I watched 82 straight games of this team for probably 10 straight seasons. I only watched about 15-20 Pels games this season. Truth be told, I watched more Rockets games than Pels games.

I didn’t even go to the Smoothie King Center this year. I did plan to go to the 2nd play in game or 1st home play in game, but I ditched those plans when Zion got injured. I literally went to the Zurich Classic instead of the Pelicans playoff game. I’d argue that shows that I’m not very invested in relation to a lot of the fanbase.

It’s hard to be super invested when the best player hasn’t played a playoff game in 5 years. You spend all season kind of enjoying the wins, but also waiting for shite to hit the pan.

We blew the most double digit leads in the NBA, we had zero comebacks in the 4th Q, Zion was disinterested for half of the season, Ingram got hurt at a bad time near the end, we ended up in the play in again, Zion got hurt at the exact wrong time again, we got swept by a team that should be 2-3 years behind us. I would say my general malaise and disinterest was ultimately proven right and I’m glad that I didn’t watch all 89 games this season.

It was a “good season”, but in a lot of ways, it was as more of the same.

Yet you rather watch the rockets a team that couldn’t make the play-in. Not really understanding your logic here.
