And you need a superstar to win a title. We have three No. 3s at worst and two no. 2s and one no. 3 at best.

The rest of the roster is fantastic. Like if we could swap Zion, Bi, CJ for Giannis, I think we'd be contenders. I don't mean one of them. I mean all of them.

Those guys rarely come available. Zion will have to become a true No. 1.

Sucks that even OKC now has a true stud.

We are closer to the knicks than the nuggets.

The roster was built with Zion expected to be that guy.

And he's not. It sucks. I really think a lineup of

Dyson
Hawkins
Herb
Trey
Embiid

Or

Dyson
Hawkins
Trey
Giannis
Val

Or

Luka
Hawkins
Herb
Trey
Val

Would be ultimately better than what we have.

One try great is better than three of our really goods.

Would you call Jimmy Butler a superstar? Heat were able to win the East twice with an inferior roster imo

You gonna have these nights in the NBA…. Milwaukee beat the Celtics dicks off the other night. Philly got blasted back to back by Knicks and Jazz.

The thing is, it wasn’t.

If that were the case then the front office would have went on a campaign all offseason talking about Zion and how he’s taking the reigns of this team.

Instead they kept the BI is our leader bullshite, and well, here we are. Zion has shown when he has the reigns and is pushed as the leader he’s absolutely dominate. In order for that to happen BI has to be shipped out

They did early on, then the marketing department stopped even mentioning him in their season ticket renewal press releases, probably because of how sideways the first 3 years of his career went.

Statistically, they’re what and what. Just was making a point that if Jimmy is a superstar, than you can argue that BI is also, or at least right there

How can you blame BI or Zion for this game? Our role players sucked tonight like the Suns didn't even try to guard them. Booker got to play 1 on 1 because Phoenix has other threats out there from deep. Hawk was off early on and Trey has not been the player we hope he could be so far this season.

Every time the pelicans lose these threads run rampant.

You do realize they're going to lose games in an 82 game season right?

I don't think BI'S value is super high. Look what the Raptors got for Siakam. Granted he's an expiring but he's better than Ingram and fetched some meh firsts and Bruce Brown
