“Trade is successful, +6 wins for the pelicans, -10 wins for the rockets.” What’s the bar for a successful trade with that deal? Lol

The Bulls are a mess and looking at a total rebuild this summer. I would target White and Vucevic from them. They combine for about 30M and are locked in for the next two seasons. It would take a pretty big haul to get the Bulls to move White, not so much for Vucevic. A trade of Ingram for White/Vucevic works straight up. But I don't think the Bulls want Ingram. We could find another team to take Ingram, like Philly for picks, then send all of the picks (plus a couple from us) to the Bulls.

So, if we trade Ingram to the Sixers for Reed and 3 1sts (24, 26, 28).

Then we trade those picks, plus our pick in 25 and 27 (we keep Lakers for next year). That is 5 1sts plus Nance/Hawkins or Daniels for White/Vucevic. I believe the Bulls would take that.

3 team trade:
76ers - BI
Pels - Bridges, Reed
Nets - 4 firsts from 6ers

2 team:
Magic CJ McCollum (rather than giving klay a 3-4 year deal at a similar price) and a pick
Pels - Jonathon Isaac

Sign Tyus jones in FA
Sign Claxton or Hartenstein in FA

If Herb were to be traded, especially under the contract he has, I’d personally help load the moving van that relocates the Pels to Seattle.

Herb was 5th in the entire league in defensive player of the year voting, top wing defender. Shot 42% from three and is signed for three years at about $13 million per. He is literally as valuable dollar for dollar as any player in the league. It’s not Homer fan opinion to say it would take a deal for a true difference making top ten player to realistically include Herb in a deal. Not even getting to the fan love for the guy.

Their offers for Murray at the deadline were shite and a 1st round pick.

Murray is a PG and needs the ball. So does Trae. CJ doesn't need the ball. That's why. And they also get rid of Capella's contract to give them some space under the tax to sign someone else.

But i would agree they would likely not be interested in that trade.

They are looking to shed long-term salary. This gives them relief and fills a hole for us. Vucevic/Reed is a solid Center rotation and neither has to play big minutes, especially with Zion playing some minutes at the 5. Vucevic isn't that expensive and could be flipped as an expiring next offseason.

I might be alone, but I think White/Vucevic is a better duo than Murray/Okongwu than most are so fixated on (which probably isn't available anyway)..
