I will refrain from making a prediction myself and instead compile the results and mail to TulaneLSU for analysis.

One of our 3 stars is traded by deadline. Kira is probably traded or waived by deadline

Zion go down.

Team gets blown up in the offseason.

I honestly think the only 2 teams we for sure finish in front of in the West are the Spurs and Blazers.

These threads are always a trap. 50+ win projections get praise, sub. 500 ones get attacked.

I don't see us winning 40 games. So, I'm going 38 wins. All the lines I see are at 44.5. It's an easy under for me.

.500 team play-in exit. Zions yet to finish a season, I have no reason to believe he’ll change that this year

Unless Jordan Hawkins becomes good enough to warrant good minutes and create spacing on the floor, it just feels like this offense is severely flawed.

If Zion plays 60+ games, we'll be a top 4 seed, if not we'll be fighting for the play-in again. Either way, this team as presently built has no shot at really competing for a title.

We won more than that with catastrophic injuries. Explain

I think it be good. Willie Green got his guys in Borrego and Miles. Borrego also brought his video guys too. We also have a new rehab director who is young and probably updated compared to Nelson.

52-30 4th seed in the west

Pels beat Grizzlies in six games first round of playoffs

Second round Pels beat Nuggets in 7 games, Zion scores the series winner

Third round Pels get their revenge and knock off the Suns in 5, Suns have no answer for Zion

In the finals Pels fall to Bucks in 6 games

Every season has to be considered separately. We didn't have anymore injuries, as a whole, than most other teams. Two guys missed a bunch. That's pretty common. Was there huge success that would carry over?

We had good and bad streaks. We lost 6 out of last 8 that Zion played. We went on a huge winning streak near the end of the year winning 9 out of 12. But then had the big letdown in playin. I don't see any cohesion or momentum surging forward that makes the team excited or exciting.

The offseason was super quiet. We didn't do anything of major significance, while the rest of the West loaded up. We are not a young team comparatively to the rest of the league. So I don't see where growth comes from and I'm actually anticipating some players plateuing and some regressing.

I'm not trying to be negative. It's just what I see. It's a flawed team. No PG, below average shooting, injury prone, poorly conditioned and slow. Not a recipe for a contending team..

That’s crazy because we went 5-3 in those games.
Dec 17- Suns L 114-118
Dec 19- Bucks L 119-128
Dec 22- Spurs W 126-117
Dec 23- OKC W 128-125
Dec 26- Pacers W 113-93
Dec 28- Wolves W 119-118
Dec 30- 6ers W 127-116
Dec 31- Griz L 101-116
Jan 2 against 6ers is when he got injured.

In fact I have no idea what you’re looking at because we haven’t had a stretch where we lost 6 of 8 with Zion

We added James Borrego and am implementing his offense. Even Willie Green agreed that it was too predictable and too much iso last year. I hope Zion stretches now instead of making fun of CJ for doing it. We also replaced Nelson.

Also, we were top seed in the west at one point when everyone was healthy. I don’t see how we can’t do that again.

Oh come on man. No other team had their two best players miss as much time except for maybe the Clippers. It wasn't common.
