Griff should be on the line too but I doubt it since he just got extended

Not willies fault his best two players can't stay healthy, and name a coach better than Willie that actually wants to come to new Orleans

Griff is definitely on the line. His decision to “ run it back” with the same team without making any moves

While that's true, that 10 game losing streak should have never happened. There's a reason why he hasn't been extended. He's not on the chopping block but he has to prove that he can navigate through those type of adversities. He's going into year 3 so the expectations will be sky high.

He may be able to rah rah I’m a godly man play for me schtick it up for the guys that will work for a little bit, but if borrego doesn’t come thru this season as the x and o’s guy this team desperately needs they should deservedly be canned

No he isn't. He's put together a championship caliber squad. Three of our players were either playing for team USA/select USA team this summer. If anybody is on the hot seat for not making the playoffs it's Zion. Because if we don't make it, chances are he got hurt and that's a no-no considering the fact he showed last season he would rather be fraternizing and tricking off on strippers and low-quality women than playing basketball. That's not Griff's fault. And if Ingram knew this before we did, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't want to come back early from that toe injury. What's the point? Griff has done nothing but improve upon his mistakes, lay down a solid foundation and culture, and make this an actual basketball organization worth respecting by continuously improving the staff and drafting through trial and error. It's our "Franchise Player" that needs to finally buy in.

Griff needs to be fired before willie. This is your 5 year and 3rd coach. You don't get to pick a 4th coach. At that point you're the common denominator here.

did you intentionally quote the Les Miles supporters when this was brought up daily during his tenure at LSU?

safety blitz

1. zion
2. ingram toe.
3. José stress fracture
4. cj hand

even popovich isnt winning with 2 highest scoring starters out, another starter hampered by injury, and the energizer bunny 2nd team guy out.

if everyone plays 70 out of 82 they make the playoffs; and im not talking 7th place playin in a dogfight with #8 after the story every one is talking about as #8s nba all star is back and absolutely cookin' like a HOFer down the stretch winning 6 in a row to even get into the playin.

A lot of the problems were beyond Griff’s control.

Why?

Given the injuries, I don't really understand if you expected THAT much more from this team.

Our best 2 players played 45 and 29 games and we were still over .500. And that's not even getting into how our 3rd best player played injured and wasn't nearly himself as well for half the season.

Can you really say we should have been better?

LSU is a significantly better job than the Pelicans.

And many of the problems have either been within Griff’s control or directly caused by Griff

His latest decision was not to trade Zion for Scoot. So if Zion is fat and/or gets injured again, it’s definitely Zion’s fault, but it’s also Griffin’s fault for not cutting bait when Dame’s situation in Portland was offering a pretty damn nice get out of jail free card.

He was handed Lauri M and Darius Garland on a silver platter and was like yea I don’t want any of that…..

Has done less with more than any gm I can think of in recent memory…

If we don't make the playoffs, I'm ready for a rebuild. I want almost everyone to go..
