No.

Something like that is basically a dead end for us because it won’t take us to the next level but lock us into mediocrity. Much like paying BI $50m a season.

What we should be trying to do is convince PG to sign with us, then work out a S&T deal involving Miami and 6ers also

Miami: Ingram
Philly: Butler
Pels: Paul Reed, 3 1sts from 6ers

Then send Nance and one of the Clips picks back to clippers in a S&T for PG

Philly goes to fallback option after losing out on PG

Miami does an even Butler for BI swap saving 12 million in the process, BI buys into “Heat Culture”

Pels get a hefty return for BI, probably more than they could otherwise get if they don’t swoop in to basically steal a player

Clips don't lose PG for nothing

The key would be Philly not knowing Pels are the one that swooped in and stole PG

One of these are not like the others…

I would swap Ingram for Jamal Murray in a heartbeat

Yeah I was confused by that too. Did he mean Dejounte Murray? Because Jamal Murray is a no brainer.

Is Jimmy really a dog though? I always though of him as one of the fakest tough guys in the league. Sure he yelled at Wiggins and KAT once, but he’s also hurt all the time, bitches a lot, and flops all the time

Jimmy Butler in the playoffs is a dog. He's not a top 10 player but there aren't 10 other guys in the league that could have gotten those Heat teams to the finals.

Jamal Murray?

Yes, we do.

The other 3, can see concerns with. Jamal Murray, you take as fast as you can, no questions asked.

Even Dejounte I would swap BI for.

I would need a little more that just DM, but I would definitely make that swap.

Please no. He’s got more mouth than game and at 35 also injury prone

I mean this is the first time out of the last couple years hes been injured and missed playoffs. Otherwise this dude is usually a playoff mvp and leading his team to the finals. His age is a concern and so is his personality- but I would argue we need some of that personality on this team. Im not all about Butler on this team but lets not dismiss him as this old injured loud mouth. This is not Patrick Beverly.

I do not want. He's been great in the past, but he's about to fall off a cliff. I'm not gambling on 1 or 2 more great seasons.
