Jumping all over that. In my heart of hearts, I feel like we get them pretty big tomorrow night. They don't have an answer for Jonas and I have to believe BI isn't going 5-17 and CJ isn't going 9-22 again.

that spread caught me off guard too. It was even 8.5 on ESPNbet at one point when I looked. I definitely don’t see us losing by double digits and Id be all over the +8.5 and sprinkle some on us winning straight up at +280 too.

sounds good but keep in mind they aren't gonna have a 17 pt 1st quarter either.

I think game one was -9.5.

I'd bet on us to win rather than cover. when we lose, more often than not it's by double digits.

and we are going to win.

There's always 2 ways to view these things.

We didn't play our best and almost won. True.

Flip side...

Game 1 was very possibly the worst OKC will play this entire series...and they still won.

I think around 9

I'd steer clear of +7.5 here tomorrow night.

Sadly they will not shoot as poorly from 3 again either.

So CJ went 2/9, BI 0/2, Herb 2/8 and Jose/Naji went 2/8. Trey was decent 5/12.

Jalen went 1/5, shai 0/3, Chet 2/6, Giddey 0/2, abd Dort was 2/4. Other guys were 5/12.

To me both should be better which leads to me to believe it’ll still be a close game but just higher scoring.

Their answer for Jonas is to put him in every PnR and outscore us.

OKC’s guards are big and physical. Really bad matchups for BI and CJ.

I’m leaning OKC plus the points tonight sadly. Hope I’m wrong.

They only ran it 5 times last game. OKC is not a big pick and roll team. It’ll be interesting to see if they implement that in game 2.

Why not?
We've played them 4 times.
3 of them they've been under 30%, and the one game they did shoot 44% was the game we had a 5 point lead with 2 and a half minutes left and lost by 7. and we didn't play a single game against them with both Zion and BI.

4 games.
They kicked our butts once
We kicked their butts once.
And you can easily say we lost the other two, not they won the other two, as we had the lead with under 2 minutes left in both of those losses.

Pels can win this but I see a lot of people focusing on how bad we shot and still almost won and ignoring the fact that they shot just as bad and still won. OKC is still a very dangerous team and I’m scared we may not catch them on that bad of a night again

I just have a bad feeling about this game. I don't trust the Pels (Willie) ability to make adjustments.

Maybe, but if our D shows up, I feel pretty good.

I thought Willie’s gameplan honestly was great in game 1 but his late game playcalling and execution was subpar. The thunder coach though didn’t adjust much- ran a bigger rotation, didn’t run pick and rolls and even had a questionable challenge call. He did start running Dort in there to grab rebounds.

We’ll see how much the Thunder coach adjusts- considering they won I don’t think he will as much. If feel sticks with the same gameplan and we hit some 3s I honestly think we’re good.

Willie knew to also learn how to properly use his coach’s challenges. It took a goof challenge from OKC’s coach that gave us an extra possession.
