CJ is fine as a 3rd option, he’s having to force himself into a 1st option because BI is far to passive to do anything against Dort

we aren't/can't trade CJ... no one in their right mind would take on that contract, at his age...
the biggest need this offseason is to get rid of BI... his time is up, he's not going to get any better than what he is now, and he's simply not good enough, nor is he a good fit with Zion, to justify keeping him...

It’s wild that we have Zion, Ingram, CJ, PLUS hit big on picks like Murphy and Jones later in the draft, yet we are still just not even close to contenting. That really shows that the pieces don’t fit and/or the coach can’t get them to come together on the court.

Coach sucks and BI is soft. Scheme doesn't work with him and Z anyway, so they have to trade him. Knowing this cursed franchise they're going to keep him.

We are a PERFECT example thats not ALL about just collecting the talent. Another example are the Suns as well.

early in a rebuild with the assets that we had collecting talent was a priority . We squandered assets and talent acquisition opportunities trying to force different centers on the roster and trying to be outlet shoppers on the trade market outside of the Cj deal .
