Really hope by some miracle you end up back here where you belong showing the team what a real man is on the court playing through the pain night in and night out. Mark my words it’s going to be a huge mistake losing a guy with his size and rebounding that also has an offensive game. I hope we can get him back on a win-win deal but Griff jacks off to a picture of Jarrett Allen every night. If Jonas would take a deal for around $12 million a year I think he’s worth every cent to give you 22-25 minutes a game while drafting a center or bring Karlo Matkovic over to be a small ball 5. If he does leave I just know it’s going to be the Lakers, OKC or Memphis where he will haunt us as we play 6’7” Larry at the 5.

Where would he move to? Does he already have a secret deal set up and ready to be signed in the summer?

Or is he retiring and doesn't want to live in NOLA?

Happy belated birthday JV aka the warrior.

Very underutilized Pel. Wish we could have played through his strengths more instead of running from his weaknesses. Bad coaching is when you can’t play to your players strengths so you adjust to the opponent. That’s why we are never the aggressor in meaningful games, they don’t adjust to us, we adjust to them

I’m no Willie defender but Jonas could barely move dude, he was awful on defense. Sad to see but can’t really blame the coach.

Hope Jonas enjoys his day, he gave a lot to the Pels.

I definitely don’t think Jonas was perfect but it’s a huge indictment on the management of the team that they exited the ASB with no additional big. Jonas could have been a very good player in shorter spurts if he had a real big to back him up (Gafford). Nance is so bad it was just never going to work. If you have one elite C, then maybe it makes sense to only have one backup big. But if you have 2 average to below average Cs, it makes sense to have another body in there that can give a different look. That’s why I think the move to let Jaxson walk and sign Zeller made absolutely no sense. I still think there’s a decent chance Jaxson figures out his role like NAW

He's definitely not staying in Metairie. All three of his cars are gone
