That's another thing.

Not only do I not like the odds of assuming Zion will be healthy and engaged from day 1(0 for 5 in that regard) I wouldn't assume we're getting 70 games out of Zion again. It's more in the line of assuming this season is the outlier and we won't get 70 from Zion next season.

My only hope is some heat turned up on the organization. Non-attendance is a clue too. Griff infuriated me with his comments earlier in the year. “We need better clutch production”. BI gets injured so what does Willie do? Replace BI with CJ. Not Zion.

Griff placed the team in salary cap hell by extending CJ and Larry. There is minimal salary flexibility to improve next year. Any improvements have to come from the draft , Z and Dyson.
The Portland trade will haunt the Pels. Griffin attempted to rush the development to save his azzzzz. The fan base has been lied to by Griffin especially about Gayle's willingness to pay the tax.

I still have a hard time fathoming how fans of this team can not like CJ/see how good he has been.

He has seriously been the best three point shooter in all of the NBA this year. Only Pels "fans" could consider getting a guy who turned into the best 3 point shooter in the NBA on a three year deal as a trade that will haunt the team. I swear man

The CJ trade is probably the best thing Griffin has done. Yes- better than the AD trade.

I also give kudos to CJ in transforming his game and thriving. You guys need to watch him trash talk Klay against the warriors- honestly thats the kind of dude you want to go to battle with. Wish some of our stars would adapt that mentality. Regardless what happens this season- CJ has had a fantastic season.

Will Guillory was on some podcast today and stated from whe's seen and heard, the organization feels good about the direction of the team and stability in the coaching/front office.

What exactly is the direction of this team? We been in the play-in 3 years in row. At this pace maybe we’ll be a number one seed in 2030.

Thunder went from 10 seed to number one. Wolves went from play-in to 2 seed.

The answer is coaching and lack of clutch plays. We lost 7 games by one possession, 4 games lost by two possessions and however bad the record is when we were down going into the fourth. You can only blame missing BI for so much.
