Great cast, good storyline, excellent acting and in my opinion, a fitting ending.

The beginning was a bit weird to watch with pasty white, pudgy Phillip Seymour Hoffman hitting Marisa Tomei doggy style in the opening scene.

The flashback time sequences put me in mind of "The Godfather II" as the movie went back and forth over weeks of time as the story unfolded.

Hoffman's character of the drug addicted, supposed successful businessman kind of imitated his real life with him dying of an overdose 14 years after this movie was made.

One of the best movies of the 2000's. Lumet was still a master of drama/tension into his mid 80's.

Check out Match Point if you haven't seen it yet. Pretty similar movie (except it's linear) from that era and just as good.
