Hugh Grant with the horns was incredible. I really liked it.

I thought they were all good in it.

I enjoyed it. My kind of humor. Better casting & it would've been a slam dunk. Schumer is not and never has been funny. Her bj skills must be off the charts.

Fun Fact: Grants character was the real voice of Tony the Tiger and also sang the original “You’re a mean one, Mr Grinch” song

This was a fun movie. It reminded me of those goofy movies that your parents would take you to in the 1960's, with stupid jokes for the kids and corny grown-up jokes for the parents. Instead of Buster Keaton or Jerry Lewis jumping in for a scene or two, we get Don Draper and Roger Sterling.

Glad that we live in a world where Netflix will still greenlight a film that's basically aimed at Baby Boomers. The runaway kid placing his 1964 G.I. Joe Marine in his hobo bindle with his Slinky and *Woody Woodpecker comic... just hits you right in your sixtysomething heart. And Marsden as Jack LaLanne... fricking perfect.

I liked the ratio of awesomely ridiculous impressions (Burr's JFK ) to deepfakes. Kyle Dunnigan did both as Cronkite and Carson, Darrell Hammond and Dan Levy disappeared into Ed McMahon and Andy Warhol. It was a nice mix.

As others have mentioned, the two kids steal the show. Specifically the little girl played by Eleanor Sweeney. She showed up the majority of the adult cast with her smart-arse performance.

*Probably not why he was featured, but Woody Woodpecker was a favorite of Stanley Kubrick and George Pal. Both filmmakers asked Woody creator Walter Lantz if they could place the character in all of their films. Lantz agreed to George Pal doing it, so Woody pops up in War of the Worlds, Destination Moon, The Time Machine, etc. He was hesitant to let Kubrick do it, and was glad he hadn't when he saw Clockwork Orange. But he later said that he regretted not letting Woody make an appearance in Dr. Strangelove and 2001.

It was a mildly amusing goofy movie that didn't take itself too serious and almost made a mockery of itself. I totally enjoyed for that. I'll admit, Gaffigan did a pretty good job when your expectations are zero. The random cameos, the aging corny jokes and references was OK in this.

I always thought that was Boris Karloff. Did a quick fact check and you’re right. Mind blown. Now that I know this, it does sound like Tony the Tiger singing the Grinch song!

I'm watching it now and I laughed way harder than I should have at the janitor-spy buffing the floor in the Kellogg's meeting.

It was awesome and I also hate Amy Schumer. Laughed throughout. Hugh Grant, Mad Men, Christian Slater (where the hell has he been), Bill Burr, half the SNL cast. It was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just a nice, fun, silly movie. Lots of good laughs.

Reminded me a bit of the Weird Al biopic.

No politics, no wokeness. Hell, even Amy Schumer wasn't bad.

Can't see why anyone wouldn't enjoy this. Thought it was pretty good. Entertaining. That's all I ask for.

I don’t know about “no politics“ the whole mascots storming the factory thing to try to stop the guy from stamping the contract is a direct reference to the MAGAs storming the capitol to stop Pence from certifying the election

Mascot riot was still hilarious. Scaling the building while in full costume was great.

Honestly shocked at the reviews in this thread considering how it is getting savaged online elsewhere and by reviewers. Many people calling it one of the least funny comedies ever made.

Interesting

Seinfeld has been going pretty hard at the state of comedy for a while now. He hasn’t made friends.

Most “non-hollywood” reviews have said it was mildly entertaining and enjoyable throughout, which is enough for the critics to rock it. If it had been amazing they would have had to hide it somewhere else.

So is it making fun of the people who consider it an attempted insurrection or of the people who think it’s a minor event that’s been blown out of proportion? Because to me it looked like they balanced on the line to entertain both sides.

I thought it was decent. I had small laughs throughout the movie, with the biggest laughs at the funeral scene. Snap Crackle and Pop made me lose it

The sea monkey side plot was the only thing I thought was dumb and shouldn’t have made it into the movie.
