True. However, a lot has changed in the realm of storm chasing in the last 30 years or so. It used to be only scientists would chase tornadoes. In the present day you are seeing more and more storm chasers who lack any formal education in the science of meteorology. Some of them know what they're doing, most don't. It's actually becoming very dangerous out there on the Plains because of the amount of people on the roads trying to intercept these storms. They're creating traffic jams and that's not something you want if a storm turns on you unexpectedly.

The first was better than it had any business being. The visuals were awesome. At the same time, you could listen to the movie like an audiobook and it would still be very entertaining.

I would typically be very apprehensive about this and would not want this movie to be made because of how highly I regard the original. But for some reason I say, what the hell, I am in. Take my money.

Looks good and I will go see it. Just don't understand why they keep rebooting movies instead of making sequels. Even if the characters are different, why remake the same story when you can add to it with a second story?
