It absolutely goes with the show. It isn’t there just to have someone be gay.

Spoiler:

he plays a young man with multiple personalities, one of them being a woman.

if your son is too young to understand how acting works then he’s probably too young for the show.

Actors are literally paid to play characters that are not what they represent themselves to be.

The best ones can do it convincingly.

If only your dad had taken the time to explain to you about the profession of “acting”.

My dad taught me that Hollywood doesnt tolerate appropriation in its roles anymore. So Holland must have gotten the OK on this role for a reason

Curious timing

Lots of British actors don't like Hollywood. Hollywood just pays considerably more for stars.

Once they get financially set, they'll do passion projects or more interesting roles they're selective about.

If you read the full quote, he is talking about the fame aspect of being a big star.

The Holocaust didn't spark Jesus' return, but Tom Holland playing a gay character on a TV is the final straw.

Nah he's back doing some other stuff again, but he definitely took time off.

He did a couple of episodes for a show on the BBC in 2020 and then a movie in 2021 with another movie set to come out this year.

Watch the show “the crowded room” on Apple TV. You’ll then understand why it makes sense. Haven’t finished yet, but good show so far.
