New noire mystery/thriller on Apple+ starring Colin Ferrel. In typical Apple fashion first 2 episodes are out with the remaining being released on a weekly basis.

I actually enjoyed the first 2 but I like Colin Ferel. Again, very "noireish" with lots of cuts to old movies but kind've cool. Seems to be a good story with lots of B actors you'll recognize. Definitely going to stick with it and see where it goes.

Worth adding to your list if you're looking for something.

Anybody else watch and have an opinion?

I started a thread that's on page two that didn't get many comments. I'm enjoying it so far. Love the genre and Colin Ferrell so it's right up my alley.

I’ve also enjoyed the first 2.

I'm enjoying it so far. Lots of scene cuts to old Hollywood. I guess he's a detective in the old "Hollywood style". So far looks really promising.

I'm thinking a lot of this is happening in his head.

What was that weird shaky cam shot in episode 1 with the gun?

So far, so good. His character is obsessed with old movies.
Farrell makes a very good noir detective. Clearly, they’ve telegraphed that a surprise twist is coming.

Enjoyed first four episodes. Forgot this is a new episode every week - can’t wait for episode 5 later this week |:^(

Is it a new case/mystery each episode or one full season of a single investigation?

So, is he an angel or an alien? Something screwy is going on. There’s a supernatural element going on.

Seriously? I did not get that vibe That would be really weird if he is.

I think the guy who plays Stallings was miscast. I have a hard time buying him as a gangster/drug lord type character. Something about him just seems off. Maybe it's the way his character is written or it's just his bad acting in general. By far my least favorite part of the show.

On the 4th episode now, I don’t know why but the first 3 episodes gave off vibes of the old video game Max Payne.

I just started this one and am enjoying it, it seems like it's getting better with each episode.

Has that Raymond Chandler noir film and Sugar is a high classic film buff, so I've been loving all the references.

Yeah I read a critic say that was the episode with the twist. I haven't watched it yet, I will after the kids go to bed. It became really obvious they were writing to hide something. I'll reserve judgement until I see it but depending on what the twist was I kinda with they had either played it straight or just given us a straight noir detective show.
