Because it’s so badass it makes his beard temporarily grow when he does it

Yeah. He is probably the best villain in the whole series. Easily the scariest.

In a world where a lot of movies like this are only as good or bad as the villain, it's kind of remarkable how good these films are despite having pretty forgettable villains post-PSH.

One was ok, two was really bad.

The best thing to come out of MI:2 was the Ben Stiller stunt double bit from the MTV Movie Awards.

I wouldn’t say this for Solomon Lane or John Lark at all

August Walker/John Lark doesn't really get to be the "villain", but otherwise I liked him a lot as the character.

Kurt Hendricks was probably the worst of them all.

Solomon Lane needed a better actor. It's really tough to follow PSH, though.

Not that they're bad, just pretty forgettable when they stack up against Owen Davian.

Probably the only weak villain out of 3-6 in my opinion. I enjoyed Solomon a lot and how he probably got the closest to actually outsmarting Ethan.

really interested in how this movie does as a bell weather.

the last one made 791 Million in pre-covid theatres.

this one should get a solid boost with cruise coming off Top Gun.

if this doesn’t crack 1 B it’s pretty much an indictment of all movies

Yep, it'll be a good one to follow. I know Cruise is pissed about losing premium screens after just one week because of Oppenheimer.

“think that they are all streaming on one of the streaming services I pay for. I will check them out”

Paramount is one. I started a watch through.

I still love 1. Hell I really like Tom cruise now for some reason. At least as an actor. I also watched born on the 4th yesterday. Intense as hell. Dude has made some great movies.

I don't think these movies need reviews. People are gonna see it. Unless they just hate fun.

I don't think I've seen any of them past the third one.

Then you've missed the best movies in the series. MI2 sucked, but they have gotten progressively better with each movie.

McQ barely has to change the plot and he’s guaranteed 80+% on RT.

I mean that as a compliment. He has this down to a science.

Tom Cruise has been solid at the box office over the last decade.

McQ just gets movies. He’s a hell of a writer too:

The Usual Suspects
Edge of Tomorrow
Valkyrie
Rogue Nation
Fallout

He also did some uncredited work on XMen (2000) and Rogue One. As long as he sticks around, they’ll be just fine.
