Unfortunately I’ve lost all hope in this franchise, when you can make Jurassic Park III look like a masterpiece you’ve fricked up

Following his breakout role in Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is looking to go from defending clients to evading dinosaurs. He is in negotiations to join Universal and Amblin Entertainment’s new Jurassic World movie. Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey are also set to star. Gareth Edwards will direct.

As long as he is not responsible for the script. He's got a great eye as a director, but OMG The Creator made no sense, he got kicked off Rogue One for Tony Gilroy, and his Godzilla movie was fine.

The writers are so preoccupied with whether they could, they forgot to ask whether they should.

They shouldn’t do this, but if they do.

Forget where they’ve taken the series so far, it’s a lost cause.

At some point they retook the island and set up the revamped park. That movie could be good.

Also could complete the circle of finding the shaving cream can that showed up as a trophy in the last movie.

A revamped park so the dinosaurs can get loose and wreak havoc again. The franchise is warmed over garbage.

We’ve done this movie how many times? frick no. Make a new movie.

The dinosaurs throughout the world is a much better storyline to continue the franchise. Let’s really see people live alongside dinosaurs. I want to see a small town in Alaska isolated from everyone else and forced to fight against a pack of velociraptors who are laying siege to the town. People are slowly picked off if they try to leave. All incoming supplies are cut off. Can they band together to survive until help arrives?

Just reboot and make it true to the book.

The most surprising thing is there hasn't been a crossover A v P in Jurassic Park event where P hunts TR but then A emerges and attacks P.

I think Jack Black and Kevin Hart are available

I would rather watch them retake the island, set everything up, the park work perfectly, and the only drama is from the concession stand running out of ice before I would want to see this for the 100th time.

None of y'all seem to realize he talking about the events between JP1 and JW1. Seeing how that happened would be better than the last two JW movies

Getting the first park to where we saw it in the original movie or where we saw it in JW would make an interesting series.

Look at great works which then carried on withOUT the author's direct input.

Lord of the Rings - Tolkien

Jurassic Park - Crichton

Game of Thrones - GRRM.

The Witcher - Andrzej Sapkowski

It's almost full proof, that whenever there's a deviation from the source material, or the one who created it, the result is a trainwreck.

Few were ever more invested with Jurassic Park than I was when it came out. Saw it multiple times in the theater, own the movie AND soundtrack. I've BEEN to Montanta to see fossils... This franchise lost me at JP3 after hearing the director's desire for a bigger, newer bad - Spinosaurus. Laughable. Then they double down with the ridiculous DNA chimera hybrids... that's so not what Crichton was trying to convey.

Fine if it made some people a living wage. I tapped out of Jurassic World. never saw the last 2 (?) movies. I forget.

Going to take a special effort and real pivot to earn my interest back.
