Was/is there a Fox and Hound bar in Laffy?

Thoughts on how they portrayed LA?

The men in the movie seemed believable in their appearance, but most of the women, especially hookers, were too attractive for real life.

It seemed they didn't lean too far into the LA/Cajun accent?

Probably the most visually and thematically accurate portrayal of south Louisiana ever put on screen

Completely agree. The episode with the bikers didn't flow well, but the rest was great.

Are you saying LA women are ugly? Hollywood always makes the hookers too attractive. Breaking Bad might be the exception.

Baton Rouge had a Fox & Hound. I was impressed how much it looked like south Louisiana. Hell, even the State Police building looked like one of the buildings at Independence.

That scene was filmed at the Fox and Hound in Elmwood.

Not at all, I'm a big fan of the dark hair and olive skin complexion of many of the gals from south Louisiana. They usually have a good sense of humor and like having a good time.

I thought the T Mobile sales chick was a banger. Her arse was top shelf. Speaking of that chick...was watching Bone Tomahawk and couldn't put my finger on who the main chick was in there...it was the T Mobile sales chick.

Show wasn’t filmed in “Laffy”

Predominantly around the New Orleans Area.

That's where the scene was set moron. Woody's character lived in Laffy in the show.

You think that every setting in a movie/tv show was filmed in the exact city that the “events” took place?

And I’m the moron?

That's why I asked. It's been 30+ years since I've been through there. Wouldn't be usual to use actual restaurants/bars/sites that existed at the time the scene was set to make it more authentic. The Fox and Hound does sound like a bar in Laffy.

Do you think Woody would actually barge into the private biker area of the bar and escape with no beat down?

You think the biker dude is going to let someone he thought was dead just show up and say "alls good" and then go pull a job with him?
