I’m mostly shocked that that girl is still with him. I can’t imagine a more stressful way to live than choosing to be married to Alex Honnold

One of the best parts of Free Solo is when she asked him if he would ever consider slowing it down and focusing on his relationship and possible family and without hesitation or emotion, he responds “Nope”

I am really looking forward to watching Alex, Hazel and Mikey attempt an FA of Ingmikortilaq. It is an absolutely stunning wall seemingly made from the dreams of big wall climbers. Once climbed* it will become a legend like El Cap, Asgard, Trango, Meru, and Ulvetanna.

I never heard of this peak and it’s 1000 feet above El Cap. If you’ve ever seen El Cap in person that’s insane.

I stayed up to watch part of the first episode. That first little adventure they had helping the researcher gather the glacier data was insane.

It doesn't make logical sense but when you have a tent on your portaledge it feels so much more secure. When you don't and are a side sleeper like I am and open your eyes in the morning and are just staring out into nothing it can be very disconcerting until your brain realizes where you are.
