Course is playing tough with these gusts and the dryness. Only players in their prime can pull off a tournament like this

It will depend on how
He feels
After this round. But it’s obvious he seems to have lost focus.

Not edgy at all. I genuinely want to watch him play. Sucks that injuries have pretty much ended his career as we know it. He may still play competitively now and then but it’s not anything like we’re account to

Starting to become a pattern with him, and I really like Tiger. I can just hear his interview after the round: “I just don’t feel like I’m physically able to continue.”

I somehow think he’d find a way if he finished -6 or so.

If he finished -6 it would probably be because he felt better…

Someone in the thread yesterday had a great line comparing watching him walk 72 holes to watching Civil War or WWI soldiers having to March 20 hours with trench foot

Yeah it sucks. Would have been much better to watch him play competitively as he aged and not have the injuries be the reason he’s not competitive

You know he has access to all the drugs in the world, right?

He was on Victor Conte's list.

This narrative of injury he often uses after being far behind is like Tyson biting Holyfield's ear twice....doing anything to get out of a fight he was losing badly. Tiger quits if he isn't lapping the field.

Take your Oxycodone, EPO and Amphetamines and finish the tournament.

nah, it has BEEN a pattern with him.... if he's doing well, he stays.... if he's not, he withdraws due "physical" shite... it's a convenient way to not "lose", so to speak, but he continuously looks like a bitch when he does it...

funny how he never withdraws if he's doing fine, you never hear a peep about the pain and shite when he's winning.... granted, it ain't happening that often anymore, but still

Bruh it’s a miracle he can even walk 18. Legitimately incredible. His body is totally shot

He’s likely on painkillers every day for the rest of his life

Your performance ceiling is capped if you’re that drugged up

I don’t have money on him withdrawing because this might be his final Sunday at Augusta. At some point he’s going to miss a cut and at some point he simply will not be able to go out there and I think both sooner rather than later

Since he drove his car off a cliff, how many tournaments has he really been “doing well in”?

I actually text our group as soon as he had to finish round 1 and start finish round 2 in the same day that he wouldn’t make it through the weekend.

He needs the full rest time between rounds to recuperate and get drugged up.
