That’s easy, should have said she wanted to press charges right there. Assault by the laws of the land. Be amazing seeing him escorted off the court by police. League doesn’t do anything serious enough. She would be right to press charges.

Pat Bev not only deserves a hefty fine, but he needs a pretty heavy suspension as well. That shite could have caused Malice in the Palace part 2.

This will happen with any sport.
The logic is it is better to err on the side of player safety. The league will compensate the ticket holder and fine the player if they are found to be inappropriate later. Security works for the team/arena, it's not their job to be the judge if a player was at fault, the player is part of the event.
Kicking a player out is the refs job, not the security guard.
The security guard could move the fan to a different seat, but I doubt they were many open ones for a playoff game.

Looks to me like he wasn't aiming for the girl which is why he was asking for the ball back so he can throw at the person he wanted to hit. Just dumb.
