Since no one else has started a thread for it, I am starting my first baseball thread ever.

Good job, good effort, mate; but game is likely already over.

This is easily the worst baseball playoffs of my adult life. Absolutely horse shite - every single series.

Another disgruntled Braves fan. Love it. The taste of their tears are so good.

This series is over. Diamondbacks just can’t get much going on offense at all.

Nola had 80 pitches, and when the Phillies had their big inning it was the right call.

Think there’s two reasons. He’s been through the lineup a couple of times, and he can implode fast. The Phillies also entered the WS last year with a tired staff, they’ve been spot resting their starters since early September to keep them fresh for this run.

There is only one reason. Because the Phillies scored 4 runs the inning before.

Spot-on..true true.

Dombrowski and Thomson have managed the last few months based on last year's lessons. Absolutely rested and rotated all the arms.

Even rested JT with Stubbs catching many games down the stretch.
