Hat trick in the 1st period
I was going to say that three series could be very similar - FLA/BOS, DAL/COL, VAN/EDM - where the "inferior" team won most of the regular season games and "stole" Game 1 but the "better" team has figured it out and might roll going forward. But who knows about the Canadian series.
What I do know is DAL/COL winner will beat the VAN/EDM winner

Oilers defense hasn’t been great and Skinner doesn’t clean up any mistakes. He never makes a ‘great’ save. And the Oilers hit two posts in the last five minutes.

Oilers put a lot of pressure on them offensively, but they need to be more physical. Those were cheap shots at the end on McDavid.

Yeah pretty nasty ending. Oilers need to go after Soucy for that cross check to McDavid’s head. If I’m the oilers coach I tell them that I want someone to flatten him in the opening frame of game 4 — don’t care if it incurs a penalty or not or if it’s sort of a cheap shot etc — put his arse on the ice.
Vancouver got the better goaltending tonight and that was the difference — and that abhorrent turnover in the 1st period that gave Vancouver their 3rd goal. Other than that they were outplayed for much of the game.
Winner of Avs-Stars is going to take the west anyways. Neither of these teams is going to beat either of those squads.
