Mentioned in another thread. There’s no reason anyone should be adding services to watch sports games in this current age we live in.

Bruh it’s Netflix not some obscure streaming service

Whats your point? A lot of people don’t have it. They already have games on Prime and peacock. So if you wanna watch every game you gotta have Sunday ticket/cable, prime video, peacock, and Netflix.

It’s healthy to be skeptical of things and not blindly accept everything that happens. Where does it all end? Before you know it Apple and Hulu gonna have a stake as well.

This is all to make a few rich fricks even richer fricks. They’re gonna continue to shite on the consumer and people like you are why they’re able to do it.

If it’s on Netflix then it shouldn’t have commercials.

Oh my sweet summer child...

What better way for Netflix to introduce it's consumer to ads?

Without cable you wouldn’t have been watched 90-95% of the games you’ve watched the last 40 odd years so please tell me how streaming is this massive burden when it’s a fraction of the price of cable.

You make the false assumption that I want to watch every minute of every single game. I don’t and I never will. I’ve never purchased Sunday Ticket. I’m not always happy with the games I have OTA but that doesn’t mean I’m going to pay to watch games that aren’t OTA in my market.

Spreading games across multiple streaming sites just makes it harder and more expensive for the consumer.

The NFL’s mantra for decades was to make their product as widely available as possible for free. They were even iffy on their ESPN deal up until a couple of years ago. That’s one reason for the growth of the league.

They made ESPN way overpay for a crappy Monday night game and a couple of Wild Card games for years.

Now they are creating random mid-week late December games so they can sell them to streaming services.

How many people watch OTA channels in this country?

How many people use Netflix in this country?

I’m not sure why so many people are upset by this. If you don’t have Netflix, oh well you miss one-two games, life goes on. If you do have Netflix, wtf are you complaining about?

I’m not assuming anything. My initial comment is they are making it more expensive and more inconvenient for fans. I was just trying to make a point which I didn’t achieve. Eventually your team will be on a different stream site. I couldn’t care less what Dairy Sanders does or anyone else for that matter.

Every team will eventually be playing games across multiple streaming partners and all I’m saying is I take issue with the fact that they are just out to make more money, they don’t give a frick about the consumer and this is a result of that.

Are you a fricking paid advocate for Netflix, or did you just get lost in the timestream and think you're arguing about cord-cutting in a thread from 2010?

Because you're completely missing what other people are talking about. And since you obviously don't care about watching NFL games, none of this is relevant to you anyway.

Facts. I don’t know the length of the current contracts with CBS, NBC, or Fox, but what’s stopping a major streamer from bidding the next time one of those contracts become available? Why wouldn’t the NFL take Amazon or Apples money if those companies are offering more than the big 3 networks? I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if that eventually happens.
