I know he only wanted to be drafted by the Lakers and basically forced a trade, which was something an unproven player out of high school just didn’t do in 1997

Kobe coming to the Lakers was WAY more Jerry West forcing the issue than Kobe. West said Kobe had the best workout he had ever seen and was destroying the current Laker starters at the time. He knew the Hornets were undervaluing Kobe enough to accept Vlade Divac in a trade.

Good genetics, better science, better medical, nutrition, etc.

None of this however takes away from the fact that LeBron is a gay fricking gaping vagina.

LeBron is a great player. Perhaps the most physically talented basketball player ever.

But he has never struck me as a real leader and lacked the killer instinct to at others have.

I’ll never deny his talent or say he isn’t an all time great. But if I could have a team of all the greats playing at their prime, he would not be the first pick.

Kobe wasn’t touted as the next MJ in HS. He’s in the debate now, but not out of HS

He wasn't touted as the next MJ in High School, and he's not in the debate now either. He was a great player, but fringe top 10 is not in the GOAT debate. At this point, MJ, Lebron, and Kareem are the only three that have a case for the top spot.

Of coarse playing this well this long is what puts Lebron in the convo for being the goat. It’s the most impressive thing he has done in his career. Jordan was still a better player though.

So if Lebron plays at age 46 and scores 2 pts, he has more points than all players combined in history? What a useful stats.

Except, what you said is not the stat. Lebron isn't 46 and didn't score 2 points... what are you talking about?

Ok let's hear it. Who are the players that scored more points at 39 than LeBron.

Why does this even matter???? It’s like throwing 70 TD passes at Brady’s age but not when it counted the most.. Lebron has turned into a child on the court with his tantrums….

It matters because people like sports. And because it's impressive and something that nobody has ever done before. Just like Brady leading the league in passing at 44 years old. It's an incredibly impressive feat that deserves to get mentioned.
