One month in the season down and there are some surprises (Astros WTF?) Got some good matchups this week. Dodgers look to get some payback vs the D-Bags then the Bravos come to town this weekend. Should be a good series!

Can Aaron Judge stay hot (the answer is yes), when does Trout take 50 games off? Can the Reds get out of mediocrity?

How long before the Orioles move on from the gas can that is Craig Kimbrel?

Has there ever been a more horrid partnership than Nike and Fanatics?

quote:

Major League Baseball plans to address its uniform fiasco after changes this spring to the standard jerseys and pants led to widespread complaints from players and fans, according to a memo obtained Sunday night by ESPN.

The prominent modifications include a return to larger lettering on the back of jerseys, remedying mismatched gray tops and bottoms and addressing the new Nike jerseys' propensity to collect sweat, according to the memo distributed to players by the MLB Players Association on Sunday.

"This has been entirely a Nike issue," the memo to players read. "At its core, what has happened here is that Nike was innovating something that didn't need to be innovated."

That arse wipe cost me big time with those 2 blown saves over the weekend

I’m shocked they haven’t announced he’s been placed on the IL. Both Friday and yesterday he couldn’t hit the strike zone if his life depended on it, he clearly looked uncomfortable, and his fastball was down a few mph

Fired up to watch this NYY/Baltimore series. Seattle pitching vs Atlanta offense should be awesome too

Couple of pretty entertaining games so far tonight

Anyone see the bottom of the 9th in the Rays/Brewers game?

What happened? I was watching The Big Inning but had to flip it over to the Dodgers. My ADD was going crazy!

Seattle throwing a perfect game and Atlanta throwing a no hitter in the same game

Bryce Miller walked a guy right after I posted this so now it’s just 2 no hitters theough 6 innings

Miller only at 74 pitches

Fried on the other hand is at 100 pitches so there’s no way he’s going 9 even if he keeps it up. Doubt he even comes back out

ETA: Acuna base hit in the top of the 7th

Dodgers didn’t strike out at all last night. First time since 2006. That’s wild

Cardinals came back to beat the Tigers in game 1 of the double header today.

Flaherty shoved but the Tigers bullpen couldn't hold it.

The most notable thing was Ryan Helsley had gotten to 8 pitches, 8 strikes, 2 Ks and the batter fouled off the 9th pitch to break up the Immaculate inning in the 9th.

Helsley is as nasty as I've ever seen him. Goodness.

Cards bullpen is just nutty.

Good Lord it must suck to be a Rockies fan

Up 5-0 going to the bottom of the 9th. Their pitcher working on a complete game shutout. First time this season they have yet to trail in a game.

Give up 5 runs and now it’s going to extras

Also…Orioles take the first 2 against NYY and take over 1st in the East

The Kris Bryant signing is still one of the weirdest, most bizarre contracts I've ever seen handed out.
