Video tomorrow of Micah vs a Pro Sumo Wrestler.
Considering how he did vs a 17 year old amateur I'm guessing he won't fare well vs a Pro.
Pretty wild watching a shredded beast like Micah getting stood up by a 17 year old kid with a dad bod.
On the first attempt Micah even had a little bit of a running start & it was like he ran into a brick wall, that's crazy.

That’s impressive by the 17 year old. Kid is seriously strong.

Risking injury like that has got to be a breach of contract for an NFL player

I wonder if they could take those sumos and teach them some OL techniques kinda like they trained those Indian Cricket guys to be baseball pitchers

No kidding.
Do Sumo Wrestlers get paid so much in Japan that it isn't worth trying football ?
Or do Sumo Wrestlers not have the stamina to do that for the duration of an NFL game ?

This. Plus he was receiving a bull rush from a smaller edge defender. Micah is a freak, but he's not exactly taking on Richard Seymour in his prime.

I need to see Parsons do this exact thing in the same setting to an average NFL O-lineman to see the comparison

Parsons is taking on a 17 yro amateur. Let’s see someone taking on Seymour in his prime that is a 28 yro pro.

Washington Sentinels were ahead of the game 20 some odd years ago.

Sumos ain’t no joke. They’re a lot more than just a bunch of lard asses pop culture has made them out to be. Their training regiment is pretty intense.

Seymour would probably get rolled especially if both were wearing mawashis.

Roasting Parsons never gets old but he’s an edge rusher, why would he be expected to win a bull rush against such a mass? He’s not winning many of those vs any NFL OTs either, that’s not his skillset

ETA Downvote away weirdos, this is basic physics

No. While sumo wrestlers are famous in japan, their salary is nothing compared to American pro sports. Hell, the average Japanese baseball and basketball player make more than the highest paid sumo wrestlers

You are not suggesting that Onosato Daiki couldn't put a prime Richard Seymour on his arse in about two seconds, are you?
