You don’t need a 46 inch vertical athleticism to dominate the nba past or present. For a big man, all you need is solid fundamentals, high level court awareness and passing to put pressure on defense, good shooting, body positioning inside the paint. Look how effortless when Jokic commands the offense. It doesn’t look like he’s breaking a sweat.

What makes Jokic even more impressive is that he isn't a chucker. He is super efficient. He scores 25-30 every night while scoring on 55-60% shooting.
But then just when you think you are playing great D on Jokic, he throws a behind the back no-look pass to a cutting man.

The most amazing thing about Jokic doesn't even show on a stat sheet and it's that he's an entire offensive engine. His court vision, court mapping, and passing ability is unreal. His ability to score at all 3 levels combined with that make him so dominant.
Really a joy to watch him play. Never seen anything quite like it.
