No, he's not going to come close to winning MVP.

Jokic will likely get it again.

SGA deserves to finish top 2-3 at worst.

He's been amazing and the Mavs are 17-2 since they figured out how to play with the 2 new guys they got in the trades.

That's great, but the people that vote for MVP formulate their opinion of who it should be in like January

Nah it’ll probably go to Jokic or SGA but the Mavs have been pretty much must see tv since the Gafford trade.

I can’t wait for the West playoffs

My point was is that the sportswriters and so on that decide MVP are extremely notorious for formulating opinions very early on and then stop paying attention.

If we are talking since January, Luka, SGA and Jokic all have great claims for it.

It will be Jokic, but Luka has been absolutely amazing this year. I think this current Mavs team can really make some noise in the playoffs. They could potentially beat the Nuggets as currently constructed, imo.

it's tough this year. Luka has been incredible since the trade deadline. i'm praying for a whole bunch of 7 game series in the Western Conference playoffs. Who gives a shite who comes out of the East, only the Celtics would make the playoffs if placed in the West.

Lukas production has never had the impact that you would expect from those kinda numbers. That why he has only won 50 and been a top 4 seed once in his career. Just doesn’t win enough to be MVP.

Looks like 15-2 and only two of those teams were inside the top 8 of their conference. 1-1 v OKC and DEN.

Looks like they'll win 50+ and be the 4 seed this year.

I think he should win it too. Him and Jokic both have incredible stat lines but i lean torwards guy nearly averaging a 34 point triple double.

They have almost no chance to get the 4 seed. The clippers would have to lose out and Dallas has to win out.

As long as they are healthy this is 100% true. Gafford and Lively are a great C combo and allow Maxi to be the backup PF to Washington where he is much better off. As long as they aren't forced to give Dwight Powell heavy minutes things are looking good. Exum is low key really important too. He takes a ton of pressure off of Kyrie and Luka as he can run the team fairly well when needed.
