Referee walked off court with 1 min left after saying he was threatened by Karr coach. Last minute played with one official.

A fan was ejected earlier.

It's not surprising that this happened at Edna Karr.
If the game was played at Chapelle, none of this would have happened.

I think they had issues when they played on Veteran's BLVD earlier this year.

Karr joining the Catholic League was a terrible decision.

Everyone is scared and kowtows to them, so it was expected.

I forget the year, but it was at least 20 years ago. I was sitting in the Dome next to a couple of HS refs watching the state championships.

They were raving about Karr. “Karr is one of the most disciplined teams they see every year’, ‘they are one of the most respectful teams”, and on and on.

I still view Edna Karr in that positive light, especially their athletic teams, despite all the evidence that things have changed a lot since then. First impressions are hard to shake.

Is Karr a Catholic or private school?

Fans get ejected from high school hoops all the time.

It's a real treat to have to go play them at Behrman on a Friday night. They blare unedited rap music for a solid 2 hours pregame. The stadium is tiny and shitty and you have to listen to their out of tune band blow in instruments as hard as they can for the entirety of the game. They only open the concession stand on Karr's side so if you want anything you have to deal with that shite show. Annnnnd there's a 60%+ chance your car windows get busted out. It's awesome.....

If ANYONE threatened an official charges should have been filed. Not simply walking out of the game.

As a player, it's one of the coolest environments I've ever played in.

As a fan, I've never been more scared for my safety at a sporting event

Well I have never known of an official for refusing a football game there or for LB Landry, Landry Walker or OP Walker at Berhman.

But I am aware of people refusing to officiate hoops games at LB and K - including a playoff game so yeah it's different. Heck I was at a game there the day they found a carcass in the press box years ago. and I would under no circumstances eat or drink anything from those or gormley's concession stands.
