Cream always rises to top in the end. Slow and steady wins the race

Bruv that don’t make a frick if you aren’t scoring runs and doing that with runners on.

You can blame the pitching injuries and shite all you want. Outside of maybe 6-7 games they haven’t won because the offense sucks fricking dick. But sick wRC+ numbers very cool

Not surprised you quit following the team.

Through April the Stros had a .750 OPS and wRC+ of 116.

In May we have a .757 OPS and wRC+ of 117.

The numbers are almost the exact same, sample size has grown so variance has turned in our favor.

I agree. This 2024 team is anything but the cream. They will finish below. 500. The only question is by how many games.

Shut up retard we’ve been in an anchored thread talking about the games.

This team has done a great job on the weaker part of the schedule, and then beat a good Brewers team this weekend and that was awesome!

The lack of RISP hitting has still reared its head in this stretch, but the pitching has stepped up and we are getting more big swings. The at bats are exponentially better

You just think this because we are winning more. The numbers show the at bats are basically the exact same success rate.

Focus on the process rather than being so results based

Astros added Bielak's replacement as long reliever out of the bullpen in Eric Lauer. He was pretty good in 21 & 22 but was awful last year.

Doesn't hurt to add MLB experienced depth ig

Bregman must have been reading the deadline rumors and realized he had better get his shite together.

He made an adjustment to his approach.

It's weird to think a guy that's been around as long as he had could lose grip of the fundamentals but I guess it happened

We understand the sport just fine. I think it's some people just don't get the DAT's fanaticism.

It wasn't that long ago we lost a world series to a team that had a losing record the first half of the season then caught fire after the all start break
