My comment was a little tongue-in-cheek knowing EGOs are the driving force behind this disaster.

It’s frustrating because I think he felt burned by the sign stealing, which wasn’t Luhnow’s fault and definitely didn’t have warrant him taking over that whole department effectively. Even if you felt you had to fire Luhnow, you could hire a Click or promote one of the assistant GMs and not change anything and let things keep rolling

Exactly. And regardless of sign stealing, how could Crane think the approach to building and maintaining the team needed to change? I feel like he listened to Bagwell, FODB etc because they were so polar opposite of Luhnow.

Still blows me away thinking of the week after the 22 Series, letting Click go and seeing/hearing that Meathead talk about needing to go old school. Hadn’t even finished cleaning up Smith St after the parade.

And now if things aren’t bad enough, Altuve is getting in one of those funks. 3 -21 on the road trip and his ABs aren’t competitive.

He struck out on a ball so high earlier it was almost out of the gamecast screen.

Next AB with no outs and two on, he swung at two terrrible pitches and popped up on the second one.

He was out of his mind for a month straight to start the season and we still weren’t winning. He was due for a slump, not his fault really

Agree, but I’m just afraid he’s pressing to try and make something happen. Feel bad for him honestly.

So aggravating…Tuve, Tucker and Peña have been so good…Bregman being arse and a massive drop off by Yed have offset it unfortunately.

That is the part the ticks me off the most. Let's break what was working and go back to "eyeball test" of doing things.

if JV had gotten through 5 no-hit I was thinking about it

Awesome start by JV today and bottom of the lineup did an outstanding job in the 7th along with Tuck’s usual beast self

There's been an apparent glitch in our operating system. What do we do?
