What really gets me about that whole situation (and I’m not a huge believer in Jake) is that they said that and then proceeded to never play him as an everyday guy. I thought ,OK let’s see if he sinks or swims playing in every game at least for the first few weeks…then they rarely play him more than two games in a row.

At least Pedro Leon appears finally ready to reach the majors. He and Loperfido will end up handling CF. Jake will get sent down and then traded.

I didn't get to watch much of this one. First couple innings and the last batter. I just noticed the orange bills with the orange jersey. I'm kind of digging it.

My favorite hat that they wear. I don’t know why they don’t wear them more often. When they first changed to the current color scheme, the orange bill was the standard road cap. Don’t know why they went away from it.
I also wish they’d bust this combination out again too.

I saw where he was doing well… he’s apparently changed his approach and is chasing less. Lord, don’t let him near this group. Make him wait in the clubhouse until it’s his turn to bat.
